Alumni Varsity "C" Golf Outing Slated
For July 28

Capital University's Alumni Varsity
"C" Association
will hold its annual fundraising
golf outing on Friday, July 28, at The Turtle Golf Club in
Westerville, Ohio.
All proceeds from the outing will aid Alumni Varsity "C" in its
mission to enhance the student-athlete experience for the nearly
400 Capital University student-athletes. Last year the
organization purchased an ice machine for the athletic training
room valued at over $7,000.
For $125.00 per person, participants get a continental
breakfast, gift pack, 18 holes of golf with a cart, a box lunch
followed by a dinner and prize raffle. Prizes have been
donated by organizations such as the Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati
Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, Cleveland
Cavaliers, Columbus Crew, Columbus Clippers, Columbus Blue
Jackets, Columbus Destroyers and The Ohio State University.
If you don't play golf, we can still use your help as you can
either sponsor a hole, make a donation or give us a prize to
give away.

Alumni Varsity "C" Needs You
Capital University's Alumni Varsity
"C" Association includes former student-athletes and
friends of Capital athletics that sole mission to enhance and
better the experience of being a student-athlete at Capital.
Alumni Varsity "C" provides funding for Parents Day
activities for teams, out of town trips for teams and other
athletic department initiatives while administering the Alumni
Varsity "C" Association Hall of Fame.
The group also works to market and promote Capital University
through the athletic department and promote fellowship with past,
present and future Crusaders.
Alumni Varsity "C" raises funds through a summer golf
outing, a membership dues drive and the Capital Classic Basketball
Tournament.
You and/or your company can help us achieve our goals and help the
nearly 400 student-athletes at Capital.
If you would like to help you are welcome to attend the Alumni
Varsity "C" Committee meeting the first Tuesday of every
month at The Capital Center or call athletic director Roger Welsh
at 614-236-6528.
