The Crusaders 160 team points for the men and 130 for the women were both good
for second place behind Otterbein College. Otterbein edged Capital on the men's
side by only five points, while Otterbein's women ran away with first place with

the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.28 and was second in the high jump with a
leap of 5-00.25. Skoda was a member of the women's 4x200 meter relay team that
came in second and also came in third in the 55-meter dash with an OAC
qualifying time of 7.62 seconds.

team including Basinger, Ramsey, Skoda, and freshman Amanda Damsel
(Westerville/Westerville South) and the 4x400 team of Basinger, Ramsey, Amanda
Whitmer (Alexandria/Northridge), and Julie Dahlinghaus (Minster/Minster).
Capital's men competed well with Otterbein and the points lead swung back in
forth, but the Crusaders 160 points were good for second. However, Capital had
impressive seven first place finishes on the men's side to fuel their second
place spot.

6.59 seconds, only five tenths of a second away from his own Capital indoor
record.
Capital dominated the 300-meter dash with four of the top five finishers being
Crusaders with junior Trent Hinton (Columbus/Whetstone) running a blazing
35.77 second sprint to take first place with junior Brian Pelanda
(Marysville/Marysville) coming in second at 36.81. Both times qualify for
the OAC meet.

with a time of 1:07.68, while fellow junior Nate Thornhill (Xenia/Xenia)
took second in the 55-meter hurdles tying his old school-record mark of 7.83
seconds. Thornhill broke his record in the preliminary round, running in 7.77
