Capital Tracksters Compete at Kenyon

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) – Capital University's track & field team competed at the Kenyon Invitational Friday and came home with several individuals earning top marks in their respective events.

Sophomore Abby Skoda (Ashland/Ashland) broke the school record and won the high jump with a mark of five feet, two inches.

Senior Adam Fausnaugh (Asheville/Teays Valley) qualified for the Ohio Athletic Conference meet, throwing the shot put 44 feet, seven and a half inches, while senior T.J. Scott (Olmsted Township/Olmsted Falls) ran a 6.71 second 55-meter dash and also qualified for the conference meet.

Other notables for the women included Laura Earhart (Pickerington/Pickerington) finishing second in the pole vault at 10 feet and Christina Heineike (Sunbury/Buckeye Valley) second in the long jump at 15 feet, six and a quarter inches.

The Crusaders are competing this afternoon at the All-Ohio Indoor Championships at Ohio Northern.
