OAC Championships Preview  
Baldwin-Wallace College will host the 2003 OAC wrestling championships this year on March 1 starting at 9 a.m at the B-W Recreation Center in the Rudolph Ursprung Gymnasium in Berea. The event will be part of the OAC Winter SportFest taking place February 28-March 1.

John Carroll looks to defend its crown in this years competition. Last year the Blue Streaks won their seventh title in 13 years, by defeating runner-up Ohio Northern 90-80.5. John Carroll had another strong season going undefeated in league dual meets and are currently ranked eighth in the nation according to the most recent Adidas-Brute/NCAA Division III Coaches poll on February 13. Ohio Northern looks to make a push to regain its title from the 2001 season. The Polar Bears went 4-2 in Conference dual meets this year.

Four OAC individual champions among the 10 weight classes returns to the mat this year to defend his 2002 title, along with five runner-ups. The winner and runner-up at each respective weight class at the 2003 OAC Championships will earn All-OAC honors for the 2002-03 season. The individual winners at each weight class also earn an automatic bid to the 2003 NCAA Division III Championships.
