Crusaders Win Sixth Straight
Capital 2, Case Western 1
[Box Score]
(COLUMBUS, Ohio)—
The Capital University men's soccer team put another game in the win column Sunday with a 2-1 victory over the Case Western University Spartans.

Eric Tarr (Worthington/Thomas Worthington) started the Crusaders off on a good foot with a straight shot into the net at 7:38 in the first half.

Case Western (3-2-1) tied the contest in the second half when Justin Steggerda shot on the dribble. Capital regained the lead midway through the half when Joey Snyder (Columbus/Thomas Worthington) scored despite heavy Spartan coverage. That goal carried Capital to the win, 2-1.

Goalkeeper John Snyder (Columbus/Thomas Worthington) tallied six more saves during this contest, giving him 40 for the season.

Capital seek their seventh win in a row Tuesday when they travel to Kenyon College for a 5 p.m. game.
