Capital Rallies in Second Half for Win

(OAKLAND CITY, Ind.)—
Capital University's men's soccer team made a second-half comeback Sunday against the Oakland City Colllege Oaks for a 3-2 win at the Oakland City Invitational.

Oakland City scored late in the 44th minute to take a 1-0 lead heading into halftime and again in the 49th minute in the second half.

Joey Linkhorn (Pickerington/Pickerington Central) scored the first Capital goal 56 minutes into the game. Joey Snyder (Columbus/Thomas Worthington), with the help of Eric Tarr (Worthington/Thomas Worthington) tied the game in the 60th minute. A Dan Albeit (Bexley/Bexley) goal five minutes later sealed the game for the Crusaders.

Freshman goalkeeper John Snyder (Columbus/Thomas Worthington) put another game on his soccer resume and recorded two saves.

The Crusaders (3-2) head to Granville, Ohio Tuesday to face Denison University at 7 p.m.
