Capital Shuts Out Berea, Wins Second of Season

(OAKLAND CITY, Ind.)—Capital
University's men's soccer team won its second game in a row Saturday,
defeating Berea (Ky.) College 3-0 at the Oakland City Invitational.
The win improves the Crusaders record to 2-2 on the year.
Three different Crusaders got their name in the scoring column, as goals
came from freshman Korey Law (Reynoldsburg/Reynoldsburg), senior
Dan Albeit (Bexley/Bexley) and sophomore Joey Linkhorn
(Pickerington/Pickerington Central). It was the first goal of the season
for each player.
Freshman goalkeeper John Snyder (Columbus/Thomas Worthington) played the
entire contest between the posts and recorded the first shutout of his young
career.
Capital will face host team Oakland City (Ind.) on Sunday at 4 p.m.
