Crusaders Hold Out for Second Home Win in Row
Capital 60, Wilmington 55 [Box Score]

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) - With eight made shots from three-point range, freshman guard Nate Stahl (St. Henry/St. Henry) broke the Capital single-game record at three-point range in a 60-55 win against Wilmington College in Columbus Wednesday night.

Four ties and four lead changes contributed to neither team having a tight grip on the lead. However a 11-3 run by the Quakers (14-6, 7-6 OAC) gave them the 29-27 lead at the break.

The Crusaders (8-11, 5-8 OAC) stayed close and regained the 41-39 lead in the second half at 14:02 on one of Stahl's three-point shots. Steve Kyser's (Sylvania/Sylvania Southview) 5-6 from the free throw line in the second half kept Wilmington at bay and ushered Capital to the win.

Stahl led all-scorers with 27 points, while sophomore forward Jake Meisler (Castalia/Margaretta) led in the rebounding category with nine rebounds.

Capital hits the road Saturday with an OAC bout at Muskingum; tip-off is at 3 p.m.
