[Box Score]
(COLUMBUS, Ohio)--Capital University's men's basketball team snapped a four-game losing streak with a decisive 108-75 win in Ohio Athletic Conference play against Marietta College at The Capital Center in Columbus, Ohio.

The win gives Capital a 3-4 record and evens their OAC mark at 1-1. Marietta falls to 2-5 (0-2 OAC).

Four straight points by the Pioneers to begin the game was quickly erased by a 22-4 Capital run that lasted eight minutes and put the Crusaders in charge from that point on.

Marietta quietly climbed back in it to cut Capital's lead to 49-41 going into intermission.

The Crusaders took control in the second period, outscoring the Pioneers 59-34, fueled by a 20-8 run at the outset of the half to give them a 69-49 advantage as they would cruise to their third victory of the year.

Freshman guard Nate Stahl (St. Henry/St. Henry) led all scorers with a career-high 27 points on 12-14 shooting, while also chipping in with eight rebounds and three assists.

Three other Crusaders scored in double-figures as sophomore forward Steve Kyser (Sylvania/Sylvania Southview) had 16, sophomore forward Jake Meisler (Castalia/Margaretta) notched 12 and junior guard Dave Johnson (Cincinnati/Roger Bacon) tallied 10.

Johnson led the way with five assists and sophomore guard Pat Stolly (Lima/Lima Central Catholic) had four.

Stahl was the leading rebounder with eight, followed by sophomore guard Matty Owens (Mason/Mason) with seven and freshman guard Ryan Wood (Pickerington/Pickerington Central) with six. The Crusaders outrebounded the Pioneers 53-29.
