[Box Score]
(DELAWARE, Ohio)—Capital University's men's basketball team lost their third straight contest as they fell to Ohio Wesleyan 64-57 in a non-conference matchup in Delaware, Ohio.

All three of Capital's losses have been on the road, dropping their record to 2-3, while both of their wins came at home in the Capital Classic. The Battling Bishops improve their record to 4-2.

The game was closely played throughout as neither squad ever held a double-digit advantage as the lead changed hands numerous times in the first half with the Bishops taking a 31-27 lead into the locker room.

Capital fought back to gain a 53-52 advantage at the 3:43 mark of the second half, but Ohio Wesleyan locked up defensively and held the Crusaders to only four points the rest of the game. The Bishops 12-4 run to end the contest was sparked by two three-pointers from senior guard Bryan King to immediately take the lead back for good. Capital shot 2-7 from the field and missed all three of its free-throws in the last three minutes as they fell 64-57.

Two Crusaders were in double figures as sophomore forward Steve Kyser (Sylvania/Sylvania Southview) dropped 15 points and junior guard Dave Johnson (Cincinnati/Roger Bacon) chipped in with 10. Kyser has scored in double-figures in four of Capital's five games this year and is averaging 15 markers on the season.

Dustin Rudegeair paced the Bishops offense with 14 points and also tallied seven rebounds.

Capital starts Ohio Athletic Conference play this weekend when they host Muskingum at 3 p.m. at the Capital Center in Columbus, Ohio.
