Greg Lee is in his third season coaching cross country at Capital, this being his second as head coach.

In his first season as head coach, Lee helped Capital women Shelly Gaines and Melissa Burgei garner All-Region honors, the first time in history that the Crusaders have had anyone receive that recognition. Capital's men finished ninth in the OAC, while the women came in with their best ever finish in sixth place.

Lee, a former girls high school coach at Dublin Scioto High School in Dublin, Ohio, has been working as an assistant at Capital for the past two years.

He received many accolades while at Dublin Scioto, including four OCC "Coach of the Year" awards and led the Irish to four OCC championships.

The Anderson (Ind.) University graduate also is a distance coach on the Capital Track & Field team and lives in Columbus, Ohio.

Damon Goodwin
Associate Head Coach
Damon Goodwin in his sixth season coaching cross country at Capital, moving from head coach to assistant in 2005.

Goodwin has been at Capital for the better part of the last decade as he enters his 13th season as the school's head men's basketball coach.

This is not his first venture into running, as he spent two seasons as the head men's and women's cross country coach at Wittenberg University.

The St. Mary's, Ohio, native is a 1986 graduate of the University of Dayton and lives in Hilliard with his wife Danielle, daughter Addison and sons Grant and Dane.
