Gaines Finishes 20th at All-Ohio; Capital Women 12th, Men 19th

(DELAWARE, Ohio)—Capital University freshmen Shelly Gaines (Grove City/Central Crossing) placed 20th at the All-Ohio Cross Country Championships Friday in Delaware, Ohio.

Gaines posted a time of 19:55.66, while junior Melissa Burgei (Ottawa/Ottawa-Glandorf), in 27th place with a time of 20:18.2 led the Capital women to a 12th place finish.

Sophomore Matt Harmon (Malvern/Glen Oak) led the men to their 19th place finish placing 72nd with a time of 29:12.7.
